WILD WORLD
SPA/SAFARI PRIMARY BATH REMODEL
Our client brought one piece of inspiration to the table during our first meeting: a beautiful image of a large wet room in the latest edition of Architectural Digest. “How can we make my space feel like this?” she asked. We quickly got to work, developing schemes to replace her large whirlpool tub with a beautiful, spacious wet room which houses a multi-piece showering system and a large freestanding bath.
Our client brought years of inspiration via her world travels and asked us to capture a design that transported her back to Africa, one of her favorite places she’s ever visited. We took tones from the African landscape, leaning into the sandy, warm, natural palette, punctuated by crisp greens and organic patterns.
Custom cabinetry was made to mimic the popular louvered doors found on Safari. “Wood” porcelain tile and “concrete” Caeserstone countertops rounded out the theme from top to bottom. We incorporated whimsical rattan lighting that contrast the clean, hand glazed ceramic wall tile and full height mirrors.
