DECO/CHIC BASEMENT REMODEL

When our client approached us to create a secret basement hangout space honoring the vintage of the home built in the 1920s, we felt it was only fitting to deliver that through the lens of the prohibition era.

A basic laundry room and carpenter built stairwell lead into a ‘normal’ basement, guiding you around the corner to a fabricated brick archway which brings you into a swanky living room, new powder room and bar area.

The space features stained skimmed concrete floors, custom paneled wall treatment and an extruded brass bar shelving in the living area. The powder room walls are clad in hand glazed emerald tile with a calacatta gold marble sink console, custom mirror and luxe gold Brizo fixtures.
