VINTAGE/GEO FULL SPACE REDESIGN, FURNISHING

We were pulled in to transform a prominent restaurant in downtown Park Ridge to a co-working and mixed use event space. The challenge was to adapt one of the oldest buildings in Park Ridge to suit today’s modern business needs, allowing for individual work spaces, to private offices to conference rooms and large collaborative break out areas.

Geometric tile, warm natural woods, vintage leather and mixed metals helped round out the finishes and furnishings to accent this vintage building’s architecture. Leaning on the tall ceiling heights, we focused our attention on bringing the existing exposed wood ceiling by keeping the walls bright and white, while still retaining the texture of the existing brick and stucco walls. We then juxtaposed the bright, white walls with designer lighting, custom mural wallpaper, bold accent paint, green walls and Shou Sugi Ban wall cladding.

This space is anything but ordinary. We focused on creating an environment that would not only beg to be noticed, but also allow someone to have the most productive and creative day possible.
